Location:
Lizard Island is the northern most resort island in Australia, located 27 kilometers from the mainland, 241 kilometers North of Cairns. It is an unspoiled National Park covering 1,000 hectares (2,500 acres). Surrounded by excellent fringing reefs and situated close to both the Inner and Outer Barrier Reef.

Surrounding:
Offers spectacular marine life including 150 year old giant clams, bushwalks, birdwatching and game fishing in season. There are 24 private beaches and coves on the island, so it is easy to discover a place for one or for two.

Accommodation:
There are 30 private suites and 2 deluxe suites. Private suites include: air-conditioning, private bathroom with twin vanity basins, shower and bath, private balcony, King or Queen beds, mini-bar, writing desk, intercom. Deluxe suites offer separate living area.

Dining:
The resort features Cordon bleu international cuisine. The staples are flown in daily from the Australian mainland, or plucked from the sea. Only the choicest seafoods, red and white meats and succulent fruits and vegetables find a place on the dining room's magnificent "Nouvelle Cuisine" menu. Or a place in the lunchtime picnic hamper, that the chef will preare for a "Grande Bouffe" on a deserted beach. complete, of course, with a bottle of chilled, vintage wine.

Activities & daytrips:
From rowing in a glass-bottom boat to windsurfing or catamaran sailing or canoeing, swimming in the ocean or pool, snorkelling or scuba diving ... many outdoor activities are available to the guests.
