After having met a few celebrants prior to Kim, we had almost lost hope. Kim was the first person to not only give us some surety she knew what she was doing, but the first person who genuinely gave guidance and support. We will always be profoundly grateful to Kim for picking up our ceremony at the last minute, just days before our departure from New Zealand. She helped us enormously by taking much of the stress out of an already stressful situation, an elopement that was supposed to be relaxing and fun, turned into an expensive holiday when our previous celebrant cancelled on us. We truly appreciated Kim’s kind, professional manner and with her advice and direction my partner and I were able to salvage what had until we met her, seemed like a disasterous situation! The warmth and helpfulness that Kim showed us from the first time we contacted her made the planning of our wedding so easy.
Kim helped us to write a wonderful ceremony and the rehearsal was great fun. We often both still think of “Wednesday” as our rehearsal day and remember the laughs that we had during the course of that evening.

We were married on April 10 2010 at Glover Park in Auckland. Kim was incredibally helpful right from the start. As soon as we met her, we knew she would be the perfect celebrant to be a part of our special day. She has the right mix of professionalism humour and a wonderful caring personalilty. From lending us many books to look through, offering suggestions on the logistics of our outdoor ceremony, to the perfect role she played on the day in marrying us. We had many comments from friends and family about how lovely the ceremony was and Kim played a big part in pulling that together for us to make a unique and meaningful ceremony just for us.

Kim was very efficient and well organised. She was quick to pick up on what we wanted, and organised it for us, in a very professional manner. As we are from overseas, Australia and Singapore, we were unsure as to the process of getting married in New Zealand. After getting in contact with Kim, she was able to explain the process simply to us, enabling a much smoother and enjoyable process. Kim is from a professional background, which shows through in her knowledge, skills and confidence. She displayed an understanding of Chinese culture, realising that certain restrictions may apply. She respectfully checked with Kath on regards to these matters. During the ceremony Kim dealt with all the chaos that twin toddlers and multilingual Spanish/English participants created in a warm and peaceful way - keeping us all on track but letting the ceremony follow it's own pace and flow.
