Getting The Best Out Of Your Photographer

Every wedding is different, the details, the couple and the family, you want the best photographs you can get to capture your big day. This article outlines five easy steps that you can take to ensure that your photographer captures the moments YOU want them to during your wedding.

1) Meet with your photographer

The most important step you can take to ensuring you receive great wedding photos is choosing meeting with your photographer, at least twice! Once before you book with them to ensure that you like their work and you both get along well and once before the wedding to go over last minute details. Ensure that your photographer takes notes during this meeting so they can remember your requirements.

2) Lists

If your wedding has a large number of guests it is a good idea to create a list of 'MUST HAVE' photographs as often you can forget to ensure that these photographs are taken during the day. Give this list to the photographer before the wedding so they can check off the photos on the day.

3) Identify key people

Talk to your photographer on the day, Point out key people such as the parents of both the bride and groom, grandparents, best friends and any other important people.

4) Choose the right photographer

This may seem like a very obvious step but it is also a very important one. Ensure that you choose a photographer whose style you like and who has a great rapport with people.

5) Relax

No photographer likes to work with a stressed out couple, just relax and have a great time!
