bedrooms, featuring modern and subtle coastal styles, a
generous open plan lounge and dining area spilling effortlessly
onto spacious balconies. All overlook the private ‘horseshoe’
shaped Rapaki Bay, the Mahinepua Peninsular scenic reserve,
with the Cavalli Islands beyond. This becomes your own exclusive
and private water front retreat. The Cavalli Beach House
offers guests the ability to get out into the open air and
ocean wilderness in kayaks and nature walks to feel the
wonders of nature in a non cosmetic and authentic way –
the real thing, so often missed in today’s experience.
Accommodation
Every
room features an irresistible panorama cleverly designed to
give privacy to individuals and flexibility for larger groups.
Great care has been taken to protect privacy and guests can
do as little or as much as required. Individual needs are
taken into account and there can be as little or as much contact
with the owners as you require.
Each
bedroom features a King-size bed a generous en-suite and its
own entry and exit to the beach.Bedroom doors open onto the
front deck which doubles as a cleverly designed walkway to
the gardens and beach. All bedrooms have been 'future proofed'
for the technological age, so if you feel the need to watch
television, (we don’t think you will!) plug in your laptop,
or communicate with your home or business, full facilities
are available. A lounge / library and kitchenette complement
the guest area. Reading material relating to the flora and
fauna and history of the area will ensure your stay here is
as informative as it is relaxing.
Wine
and Cuisine
The
fresh and simple ideology underscores the food menus. Your
host Paula love's to cook and the emphasis placed on cuisine
recognizes that food and wine play a vital part in providing
an experience guests will always remember. The wine collection
features superb local wines and selected celebrated New Zealand
varieties, which will impress you. Bill and Paula love the
'wine culture' and couldn't think of a better location to
share and sample a drop or two with you.
Getting
there
The
Cavalli Beach House is situated in the Far North of New Zealand
at KeriKeri, around 4 hours drive from Auckland. Or 45 minutes
flying time from Auckland to Kerikeri airport, from which
your hosts will pick you up or you can hire a car at Kerikeri
for your stay.
